Q & A: Danger
What do you think is the biggest threat/danger/obstacle facing the church today?
The greatest danger to the church today is that we are living in a "feel good" society where everything is based on feelings instead of facts. The truth is, most Christians don't know what the Bible really says about our lives and how we are to live. Many Christians today are guiding their lives by their feelings and what the world believes instead of God's word. The state of Christianity in this country is in such a horrible condition that very few really know what God's word says about anything. Most Christians base their beliefs on what they read in books, or what their minister says, or on their feelings, and never check to see if what they are reading or hearing is lining up with what God's word says. As a result of not knowing God's word they open themselves up to being deceived by the first good sounding words that come along (Romans 16:18). Thank you and God bless.
